What was supposed to be a hike turned into a trip to Veritas winery, which was fine by me! We took advantage of the great scenery to get some beautiful family pics.

This past Thursday we went up to DC to visit with some high school friends. Finn got to meet the McCluer twins. We couldn't resist the photo op and it proved quite funny. Alex seemed quite disturbed at the proximity of Finn to his sister!

At 6 weeks of age Finn is getting better at holding his head up. He enjoys his time on the tummy mat, especially when there is a fire going! I attempted to catch a smile on camera but it was difficult!

Jane's Birthday

On Sunday we went again to Chez Hansen to celebrate Jane's birthday. We've determined that the country air must have a sedative in it because Finn always takes great, long naps there. It could also be the fabulously comfortable crib Jane made!

One Month Checkup

Finn had his one month checkup today. He weighed in at 9lbs 13oz and was 22 inches in length. He has gained almost 2 pounds since birth! His weight was at the 50th percentile and 75th percentile in height. Luckily his Abuelo was there to help him through the vaccine shot!

Four weeks old!

Today Finn is 4 weeks old. It's hard to believe it's only been 4 weeks, the most exhausting 4 weeks James and I have ever experienced. Here is my favorite picture of Finn so far! James and I are quite lucky since Finn is an excellent baby!

Finn's Fans

Finn had several first time visitors this week. James has been trying to get into a routine of walking the dogs with Finn when he gets home from work, giving Mom a much needed break. Finn hated the Baby Bjorn at first but now loves it! This week we also transitioned Finn to his crib, so Mom no longer sleeps with an 8lb weight on her chest. We were very scared at first but he did excellent!
