A Very Active Boy!

It has come to our attention that Finn is a very, very active toddler. Gone are the days when we could go to restaurants and enjoy a pleasant, sit down dinner. Now, we take turns chasing Finn around the restaurant. I'm always amazed when I see other children quietly sitting in their high chairs coloring. This is one of the few moments when Finn was actually sitting down at brunch.





But an active child makes for fun days filled with visits to playgrounds, dance, and little gym classes. I've discovered that independence is a great trait to possess. Finn is not afraid to run around and investigate leaving me 30 seconds to sit down and enjoy the privacy.


He really enjoys helping out around the house. Some of his favorite activities include sweeping, vacuuming, and baking. While I'm preparing dinner or baking, Finn usually stands on his stool and tries to make as big a mess as possible.



He really enjoys dancing to any type of music. Here is his interpretation of the Lord of the Dance. Not sure what he is doing towards the end though.
