Second Child Syndrome

It's inevitable that the second child never has the same amount of pictures or blog space. Poor Gus suffers from this syndrome. However, his brother tries to compensate by giving him plenty of hugs and kisses, even though it sometimes turns into smothering if not careful!


Gus already has plenty of play dates already. Here is pictured with our good friend's Ali and Jeff's daughter, Tenley. Tenley is only 6 weeks older, guaranteeing at least one prom date.





Gus also gets lots of family time. His Aunt, Sarah, was in town from Taipei, and was sure to get plenty of bonding time. She would have been glad to take him back!



Gus' Abuelos also make the trek down from DC often to check on their 5th Grandchild.



Gus still proves to be an excellent baby although I can't wait for the nights he sleeps all the way through!

A Day on the Water

We have the best pediatrician ever! Carlos is always there to answer our questions and his wife makes a great pesto pasta dish! One recent Sunday morning, he invited Finn and James out to Walnut Creek to enjoy some time on the boat. It was Finn's first time on a boat. He absolutely loved it!



Finn continues to be great with Baby Gus. He is always willing to give him kisses and hugs. It's a little scary to watch him try to pick him up but he's such a great big brother.
