Perez Family Beach Trip 2010

Finn enjoyed his first trip to Hilton Head this past week with the Perez family. He had all his cousins there to entertain him. True to form he thoroughly enjoyed the beach, playing in the water and eating sand!

It was a week of many firsts including birthday cake,



oreos (courtesy of his Abuelos) playing with his cousins, drinking from the bath faucet,




bike rides,



and playing with sand toys.




Overall it was a great week although James and I decided that sleeping in the same room with Finn is not ideal!

He is half Cuban...

Finn has discovered how to dance. Hopefully, some of his Cuban blood will provide him with more rhythm than his parents. So far he can only manage to either shake his hands, bob his head, or bounce up and down. When those two get put together, watch out ladies!

Beauty and the Beast

Some of you may not know about James' other son, the 1979 Bronco that has been haunting me since 2003. It has followed us from Blacksburg and has resided along side our house in Charlottesville for 4 years. Recently it has managed to find itself in the driveway, my driveway!!! Finn often gets to enjoy the quick drive up and down the driveway. James' hope is that Finn will learn how to drive in the Bronco.




Finn has also grown up to be a great gardener. He likes to pull everything from weeds to colorful flowers! Fortunately for Finn our grass consists of mostly weeds.
